When will my game be released?
Now available for pre-order on Steam and GOG, The Last of Us: Left Behind is a third-person action-adventure game set in the post-apocalyptic New York of 2017.
It’s been nearly three years since Joel and Ellie left their post-nuclear New York, but they’re not out of the woods yet.
With the aid of a new machine called BLENDER, Ellie and Joel can rekindle their connection to the world, and in turn, rebuild their lives.
This is a story about two men, two families, and two different places.
But when one of the games creators on staff, Tim Schafer, finds himself trapped on a deserted island, he discovers something that changes everything.
The Last of Men: Left behind is the first in a series of independent games, inspired by the works of Wes Anderson, Stephen King, and Terry Pratchett.
Tim is the Creative Director for the studio, and he’ll be talking to us about this project and its journey, as well as the future of indie games, in a new video interview coming soon.
If you’ve never played Left Behind, you’re in for a treat.
It’s a first-person story set in New York after the destruction of humanity and a new era of post-humanity.
It follows Joel, a man with the same name as the protagonist in the game, as he discovers a new world, where humanity has returned to life, and where he’ll eventually be reunited with Ellie, the daughter of the original protagonist, Joel.
This world has changed a lot, but the world Joel and the others live in remains the same.
We’re really excited to finally release this game, Tim told us.
It will be a true post-cyberpunk experience.
It’ll be an interactive experience, with the ability to play through the entire game in one sitting.
We can’t wait for you to experience Left Behind.
