Kuta Software, the maker of Fan Control Software, Will Launch a New Fan Control Application
KUTA Software, a maker of software that allows fans to control their equipment, will launch a new Fan Control application for use with its own devices, a spokesman said Wednesday.
The company has been developing the software since 2014, but it’s only now that the software has entered the mainstream market, said Kuta spokesman Terence Condon.
The company plans to launch the new application in Q1 of 2018, Condon said.
The new application is the first of its kind, Cordoni said.
Users will be able to use their phones, tablets and computers to control fans with voice commands.
Fans will also be able access an on-screen interface that allows them to adjust fans’ speeds and volume using a variety of parameters, including fan speeds, fan speeds for certain types of movies, and fan speeds and volumes for other types of music.
Cordoni declined to provide more details about the new FanControl software.
The KUTS Software is a subsidiary of KUTTECH LTD, a Hong Kong-based software development and manufacturing company, which has been building software for the home theater market since 2012, Cordeis said.
KUTTS software includes a large number of fans and fans controls for use on computers, tablets, and mobile phones, as well as software for controlling fans with other products, including air conditioners and refrigerators.
The software will be released to developers for free, Cendeis said, and will also offer users the option to buy it as an app or in a cloud-based service.
