While HTML5 was not the first to have HTML5 features, it was the first language that had them.
Its been called HTML5’s big breakthrough and now, it is gaining more traction.
It has also seen a significant boost in adoption and adoption rates.
“It is a language that people have adopted in a very short time,” says John Stowe, senior vice president of business development at Digital Equipment Corporation.
“[It’s] been the language that I’ve been using most for a long time.”
The new language is also gaining more acceptance.
Adoption is at its highest point in almost a decade.
An estimated 3.5 billion people are using it today.
There are a lot of benefits, too.
“It’s a much more robust language and that means that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel and reinvent the software,” says Mr Stowe.
And the language is gaining traction across different industries.
Companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft are adopting it as their first language.
