SolarWinds’ SolarWindz software gets a major overhaul
SolarWind’s solar wind software has been updated to include a new, more efficient design and a new approach to controlling the size of the turbines.
The update also adds new features for controlling the efficiency of the turbine and adding new features to the software for use in photovoltaic (PV) projects, such as the ability to reduce the size and number of blades to a minimum of five or six.
In addition, SolarWind will now allow developers to embed a user-friendly widget that can be used to quickly toggle between the various output modes and the output level.
In its most recent report, the European Commission highlighted the new design of SolarWind, which it says is more efficient than the current design.
SolarWinds software is used in a number of applications in solar PV projects, including the SolarWind Ultra project in Italy and the solar farms in Germany.
